Outfit of the day, and shopping!

Friday, October 7, 2011

Just thought I'd give a quick look at how the Lauren Conrad pleather brown shorts and top actually look on someone other than on LC.  I also have brown leggings on underneath the shorts. Oooooh I just love it! This is my first time wearing this outfit. The heels are a brand I can't remember. I got them last year though. I loooooove the bows on the side (excuse the upside down picture hahaha. It was the only view I could get good with the bows in the picture.)

I don't wear heels very often, as seeing I am almost 6ft tall, so I am glad these don't make me too much taller. It's not so much of an extreme heel. And comfortable enough to still shop in! But after slipping over to stalk Jenny's page a little bit, she posted pictures of some oxfords she got from Yesstyle  That I
would absolutely love to get. She has them in the khaki color, but I would absolutely love them in a chocolate mix color.

These are the ones  I want. =) I just love them! ANd the design quality is well worth the $100 that they cost.

I am starting to really dislike blogspot (blogger, whatevs) it keeps posting my pictures where I don't want them to be, and it just seems so glitchy for me all the time -.-;; .Grrrr. Oh well. So this weekend, I have absolutely nothing planned. Probably a bunch of old scary movies and sitting on the couch cuddling up to the boyfriend is the majority of the plan. I'm sure you all will hear about it at some point. I hope everyone has a good weekend! (I'm so awkward and don't know how to end a blog. EVER. I feel like I'm always cutting it short.)

Sugarpill review!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

Hi everyone! Long time no see! It's been really busy at work, and just haven't really had anything "new" to review. Vacation was great, life is great, and I'm glad Fall is here!! Sweaters are my favorite to wear! And I decided to start getting my Halloween stuff ready early, and I'm going to be a fox!! I decided to buy Sugarpill cosmetics to get a wild look. Well, I played around with it, and here is what I have to say about it!

What cute packaging! This is the box that you get in the mail. At this point you are really excited to see what other goodness could be in this cute little box.

Inside was a sticker, business card, collector card and a loose powder sample. A lot of free gifts! That was a plus. I always like it when the business actually gives treats and thank you's for your business =).

I ordered the colors Flamepoint and Love+ in the pressed powder. I always wear urban decay eye primer, to bring out the vibrant colors and making them last all day.
Soooo vibrant! The color is intense, and is easily applied. I blended a brown shimmer elf shadow on top of it to make it just a little bit more shimmery. I think it will definitely give my a fierce look for my fox costume.

Has anyone else realized how wonderful the new Lauren Conrad lines are? I was in love her summer line, and I bought a majority of her fall line.

I have the first sweater and these shorts on in the photos above. I also have the sweater with the shorts pictured on Lauren Conrad. So cute!
I have a shorter version of this skirt from her line, but couldn't find it on the site...But I love this one as well!!!! Her whole line is adorable. I suggest you take a look if you ever get the chance!

I'm hoping to start stitching soon, I need a hobby of some sort. I also need to look into getting a digital book reader, they're easier to hold and turn pages on for me with my hand cramps. I'm starting to get busier with my photography as well. I entered a contest not too long ago and got a second and third place ribbon. So things are picking up. Well, I gotta go figure out supper =(! Hope you guys enjoyed the return!

Lauren Conrad outfit, healing garden and select lash, and hipstamatic!

Friday, July 15, 2011

Oh geeze. Everything you can do on this iphone is amazing! Seeing as I am all about photography (and do it as a part time living) I had heard soooo much about Hipstamatic, and decided to actually buy the app and a few other lens and film for it.

Oh I just love the way these photos feel. I also love how my mother has antique items to take pictures of =3.

After I took some pictures, I took my mom into town to get her groceries and other stuff, and low and behold I found some neat items!!!

The Healing Garden Romance Passionate Rose RainWater body mist!
I am always looking for some kind of rose scent, because I used to have a Disney Belle perfume that smelled of the most wonderful roses!! I still have the bottle so I can smell it. But I can't ever find anything close to it, so I get pretty excited and buy anything to do with roses. This is a nice light smell of roses, which I got the lotion too. It's still nothing compared to my Belle perfume, but it is something different while Summer is still going on.

OH my gosh, and for the best thing I got today!!!
This is the Lauren Conrad clothing line (Both top and shorts) and I had Kohl's $10 off. So I got the entire outfit for $52.14 !! I guess that's not too bad, seeing some outfits are really really expensive. I really wanted these shoes, they were on clearance, but I don't want to spend too much money before vacation T.T

I'm trying to convince Zac to buy them for me since they are only $14 hahahaha! We will see.....

I also bought some lashes made by Select Last, and cut them in half because I don't feel the need for a full set.

Along with the latte lens again! Hahaha. I just love them, so neat. I used my D-UP Eyelashes Fixer EX 552-Clear Type(Pink bottle-Limited), and it has a pretty neon blue look to it (weird description, I know, but when you look at the brush it does! Weird gel colors and their magic!! But anyways, this is by far the best glue I've used, because of the easy access shape brush. It is perfect for either eye or eyelash.

I love my nude lipstick. But I really want to try a coral soon.
And Hard candy blush is ok, I just want good makeup, but refuse to pay so much. I will break down soon.

Oh, by the way, I also got a L.A. Colors pink swatch set for like, $1.25 from DG also, just because I was curious at these vibrant colors, and the horrible cheap price of fear. Well they worked awesome! A lot shimmery than some of my other shades from CG or L'Oreal. I was really surprised! I may add those later if someone asks later. Well, I'm off to prepare for my friends wedding tomorrow. I'm going to try and shoot it both with my Canon, and the Hipstamatic. Just an experiment. =).
