Lauren Conrad outfit, healing garden and select lash, and hipstamatic!

Friday, July 15, 2011

Oh geeze. Everything you can do on this iphone is amazing! Seeing as I am all about photography (and do it as a part time living) I had heard soooo much about Hipstamatic, and decided to actually buy the app and a few other lens and film for it.

Oh I just love the way these photos feel. I also love how my mother has antique items to take pictures of =3.

After I took some pictures, I took my mom into town to get her groceries and other stuff, and low and behold I found some neat items!!!

The Healing Garden Romance Passionate Rose RainWater body mist!
I am always looking for some kind of rose scent, because I used to have a Disney Belle perfume that smelled of the most wonderful roses!! I still have the bottle so I can smell it. But I can't ever find anything close to it, so I get pretty excited and buy anything to do with roses. This is a nice light smell of roses, which I got the lotion too. It's still nothing compared to my Belle perfume, but it is something different while Summer is still going on.

OH my gosh, and for the best thing I got today!!!
This is the Lauren Conrad clothing line (Both top and shorts) and I had Kohl's $10 off. So I got the entire outfit for $52.14 !! I guess that's not too bad, seeing some outfits are really really expensive. I really wanted these shoes, they were on clearance, but I don't want to spend too much money before vacation T.T

I'm trying to convince Zac to buy them for me since they are only $14 hahahaha! We will see.....

I also bought some lashes made by Select Last, and cut them in half because I don't feel the need for a full set.

Along with the latte lens again! Hahaha. I just love them, so neat. I used my D-UP Eyelashes Fixer EX 552-Clear Type(Pink bottle-Limited), and it has a pretty neon blue look to it (weird description, I know, but when you look at the brush it does! Weird gel colors and their magic!! But anyways, this is by far the best glue I've used, because of the easy access shape brush. It is perfect for either eye or eyelash.

I love my nude lipstick. But I really want to try a coral soon.
And Hard candy blush is ok, I just want good makeup, but refuse to pay so much. I will break down soon.

Oh, by the way, I also got a L.A. Colors pink swatch set for like, $1.25 from DG also, just because I was curious at these vibrant colors, and the horrible cheap price of fear. Well they worked awesome! A lot shimmery than some of my other shades from CG or L'Oreal. I was really surprised! I may add those later if someone asks later. Well, I'm off to prepare for my friends wedding tomorrow. I'm going to try and shoot it both with my Canon, and the Hipstamatic. Just an experiment. =).

Geo Mimi Café Latte Brown 15mm and more!!

Tuesday, July 12, 2011

Geeze. I take forever to get back from stuff. That and I haven't really been "buying" a lot of stuff here lately. I've been on a big jewelry kick here lately. I found an ebay seller who sells fairly cheap jewelry. Cheap=price, NOT quality. Here are the pieces I bought!

The last bracelet didn't have the winged charm, so the  ebayer was so polite to mail me a new one! =) !!!

But now to the part you've been wanting to see, the Cafe Latte brown geo lens!

I went with Shoppingholics.com this time, and this is my first purchase from their store. I have to say, I WILL BE GOING HERE from now on. I just think they care a little more about their customers, and I got my lens in three days. THREE DAYS that is crazy! They sent a little thank you note, a free eye mask, free lens case, and a beautiful little version of the black Contact Lens Travel Kit Case with a rose on it. It's only big enough to hide a little tube of lipstick, but sooooo adorable! Shoppingholics I felt took the time to tell me how much they appreciated my business, by all the free gifts and thank you note! I forgot to mention the sticky Velcro hair thing that most sites give out and the D-UP Eyelashes Fixer EX 552-Clear Type(Pink bottle-Limited) that I bought for soon to come lashes. Here are some pictures from the package!!!

Cuuuuuuute!!!! I was overjoyed by the wonderful surprise bag!!! Now on to the actual lens review!!!

GEO MIMI CAFE LATTE BROWN 15MM LENS REVIEW

Comfort:9/10! MOST Comfortable Geo lens ever! So far anyways. I have a pair of Mimi Apple Greens, and they just HATE my eyes. Look awesome, can't wear for more than an hour. I wore these after soaking for 12 hours, and had them on for a whole 8 hour shift of work, and then some. They dry a little, but nothing that most contacts don't already do a little of.
Design:10/10 I wanted a brown lens, because I have blue eyes, and never tried them. Well, needless to say they don't look as well as they do probably on a brown eyed girl, but I still love the design! SO CRAFTY! And swirly. It still gives my eye a rather large doe eyed look when there is not a bunch of light though. My eyes practically look brown in low light as you can tell from the ones with no flash. I think the whole Cafe line looks just amazing! But I doubt I will be going for a dark color again in the future. While I love these, they just don't seem to be as cool looking as on dark eyes.

Like I said, I have natural grey/blue eyes, so they look pretty swirly in colors when I wear them.

So there you go! Ever had doubts about going to shoppingholics? Well don't, because they are by far THE BEST that I've gone to get circle lens, and not only that they do carry a lot of cosmetics!

On my leaving note, I leave you with a picture of Tommy, a kitten that we've been bottle feeding, the mother won't let him feed all of a sudden. So we've been taking care of him (Grandma, mom and I) And he is coming along fine! He doesn't know how to feed though....
So we have to be really patient with him. But he is worth it =). If you have tumblr, visit my tumblr to see more pictures of cute kittens, and other random pretty stuff. =). I have a wedding to photograph this weekend, so it's gonna be a busy end of July from here on out!

Neo Vision Dali extra grey and masks!

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

Hi everyone! It's been a while, I've been busy back at work, and it was my birthday, which happened to fall on father's day too!! I also want to apologize again because of the sweet  comments I receive on my blog, but for some reason blogger won't let me respond!!! Does anyone know what could be the cause of this?? Anyways back to the important part of this blog.

So to celebrate my birthday, I ordered Neo Vision Dali extra grey lens and some face masks!!

Comfort-10/10! These are the MOST comfortable lens that I have EVER purchased. They don't even start bothering me until 8 hours +!!!
Enlargement-7/10 but this isn't a bad thing. They are a VERY natural looking lens. And they do make your eyes appear slightly larger because of the dark outer circle.

All in all, I wear these a lot now. They never bother my eyes, and I get a lot of compliments for them. My boyfriend also likes them the most because they don't look unnatural lol.

Now I also got some face masks, Face Q Red Pomegranate & CoQ10 Mask,Limited Edition! My Beauty Diary Hello Kitty Hello Kitty Honey Strawberry Mask and Bulgarian White Rose. I have only used the Hello kitty honey strawberry one.
The mask really did make my face feel nice and moisturized. Buuuut the smell was VERY disappointing. It smelled a lot like home made apple wine. Which if you have never had home made apple wine, it is very smelly, and a lot of fermintation(is that the word I'm looking for?) Almost like a yeast smell. But like I said, I noticed instantly the whitening.

Along with this, I bought some jewelry, not all of it has came in, but my new favorite earrings that I wear all the time came in. Betsey Johnson golden koi earrings!!!
Don't mind the horrible chipped nail job =S. But these are soooooo cute! I wear them as though they are swimming down from my ear. They have to be one of my favorite gifts!!
I also received L.A. Noire from Zac for my birthday, so my days off have been actually working as a detective hahahaha. But once again, sorry for the lack of updates!! And like I said, if anyone knows how the heck I can fix my comments to where I can reply, please let me know! It's not me ignoring you guys honestly! =)

hair cut!! And vacation!

Thursday, June 2, 2011

Hello everyone! I am excited to let everyone know that I cut my hair really short....again! hahahaha.

so what do ya think? =D! I got the hair cut picture from Rasya.com!

Similiar, but my hair type is a little different, and my bangs are def a lot different lol. Oh well I still love what the result was!! Super cute!!

I really have no review here today, and I'm getting ready to go to Branson for the weekend! So I'm sure I'll have lots to post about!

Last weekend was Zac's birthday. We had a quiet night out at the bar with his dad and stepmom.
Yeah. I decided to pounce him for a random iphone snap!

And now I leave you with some of my iphone photography! =D

Oooh I love that kitten. I want to call him Spunky! Well on that note, it's almost time for me to take Zac to Kohl's. Oh, does anyone have any suggestions on what circle lens I should get next for my birthday? It's coming up, and I thought that would be a nice gift to myself. =).

I leave you with many pictures of me dressed as Marvel heroes. Enjoy!

What a long hiatus! PHew I'm back!!

Thursday, May 5, 2011

(Warning! Image heavy =S!)

Wow. I was gone for a really long time. Between working and just not having internet -.0'' it was a really long time!! But now I am back, and have so much to tell and share!
So we finally have internet, hahaha. I convince Zac it was indeed time for us to get it. He didn't argue back =D! Oh!! Did I also mention I have an Iphone now?!

Hahaha. Thanks Jenny for the wonderful case idea! I had to get it after all the ones I had seen. Almost everybody asks me why I'm carrying a cassette tape around =) lol.
So with this new iphone, I decided I should start a photo blog, or just a photo something. I take so many pictures with this, that it's more fun to update what is going on in random times. You can see what I have so far at my flickr account =) even though I will still mostly try and update here more often.

Geeze! Work makes me write short entries. Perhaps soon I will give you a full blog report. Lots of makeup, hair products, and more princess mimi eyes!!! =)

Princess Mimi green apple (BAMBI SERIES) Contact lenses!!!!

Thursday, March 24, 2011

This is going to be a very short post, for I have to work in a little bit, but I had to let everyone know about the Bambi lenses (Princess Mimi) That I received!! They are pretty popular right now, and I was afraid I wouldn't get them in. BUT I DID MUAHAHAHA!! Thank you Pinky Paradise for having them for 23.90 instead of 32.00 like I was seeing at different places!!! I always trust Pinky Paradise, they have never done me wrong!!!

Check THAT out!!! I think it shows up REALLY good on my natural blue eyes. Sorry for the no makeup deal, I haven't gotten ready for work yet. Buut look at how super green those are!! WOW!! This is my first green pair, so I'm really happy with the outcome. I highly suggest these, in any color, because I feel they are made with amazing design. Remember that different color of natural eye may make different eye colors with the lenses.

Did I mention I cut off all my hair.....?????

eh, not a very good picture, but what can you expect with cell phones. It's all gone. I can't even put it in a pony tail lol...but I felt that I couldn't handle the weight of my hair anymore, so it's a situation that took a lot of thinking to go through. But now I have to go to work, and I'm sorry to everyone that I haven't been posting a lot, a girl at work just had her baby( Which is the most adorable baby girl I've ever seen!! Congrats Jessica!!!) and we've been making up the hours for her. So hopefully someday I'll have time!! So now I leave you with a picture of what I got today!!

Rohto lycee eye drops, green frog contact holders, Princess Mimi lenses, and a kamipita bow!!! Thanks everyone!!

Valentine's Day!!!!

Monday, February 14, 2011

This is my first year for celebrating Valentine's day with Zac, and I just have to say I am extremely lucky. And to make this day special, I thought I would share what I was wearing, and a very small review of makeup. It's also an update review to my skin79 product that I did a review for.

Hard Candy Ginormous Lash. I have had this mascara for about six months now (They tell you to get rid of old mascara because it can clog pores, become clumpy, all in all bad stuff happens.) But it still seems to work it's magic on me. It's the only stuff that doesn't clump, but still gives me volumous eyelashes. I should just stop buying other mascara, but like most of us, I have this horrible addiction to makeup I don't or haven't owned before. Hard Candy makeup can be found at Wal-Mart, for around anywhere from 6-8 bucks. They have the outragous and vibrant colors that Wal-Mart carries for makeup.

This is a CVS item, which I believe is called "The Color Workshops" I actually got a set of four of these eye shadow kits, two lipsticks, two lip gloss & blush, with four eyeliner pencils. The cost was about $1.99, for it was a Christmas item and was on clearance. These little guys don't work well on eyes unless you wet the brush down. But it's ok, they work WONDERS when you do.  The gift set was originally 9.99, so I don't think this is really expensive makeup. For my eyes I used the bottom right one first, then the middle, and then the top for my highlighting.  I usually don't wear smokey eyes, so this was the first time using this palette.

I also used Physicians Formula blush, in a coral color, I don't really remember what it's called. My foundation is the skin79 product I had reviewed earlier, which I said I needed a bit more time to review. It works WONDERFUL! I no longer have any breakouts, I use it as a foundation since it is tinted, it's a moisturizer, and it covers my pores completely! I am really impressed with this, and will use this FOREVER.  I also used a charcoal eyeliner on the upper lid, and lower lid, from Covergirl.

This is the end result. I also have my Barbie Gossip Aqua's in this, and this is with no flash. I think it looks good...But I could be wrong lol. I think it's a VERY Simple smokey eye.

Hahaha. And the big result. Did I forget to tell you all, I got my hair done too? This is more of my natural color of red, instead of that dark stuff. It is becoming spring outside, so I thought light would go with happy weather.

And this is my dress I'm wearing tonight. So I will make sure to take lots of pictures!! And tell you where we went to eat. I get so excited over food =S. So there ya go! A small update! And Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!!

REVIEW: Pinkage Hair extensions and HANA SPC Hyper CIRCLE Grey lenses

Friday, January 21, 2011

Hello again everyone! Here is the second review of the week! I don't know how often I will have two in one blog, but for now it seems to be working! On with the show!!!

HANA SPC HYPER CIRCLE GREY LENSES

Oh boy, I'm starting to see a trend here. Circle lenses have been a fashion accessory in Asia for quite a while now, and has recently been finding its way over to the States, as well as other countries all over the world. These were actually my first pair!!! As much as I love my Aqua Gossips, these tend to be my favorite. The all out result of these are a little unnatural according to my boyfriend, but grey is my favorite color!!! These were really comfortable from the get go too. My only problem I had with them was that they were my first pair, so I had to adjust a lot to them. This took a couple of days of wearing, and adjusting. But all in all, they are my easier pair, along with more comfortable pair.

The color if very dark. Well, a natural dark is what I call it anyways. I had debated for a while on either Barbie or Hana. I don't know if I mentioned in the earlier blog, when you order circle lenses, allow to soak for a while before you put them in, I always take this safety precaution. A little late for that tidbit eh??

Now, let's see how these suckers actually look!

Whoa.
The good thing about these lenses, is that it hides your iris mostly, in a well lighted room. However, if you have a small iris, you can see a small outer line around the eye that is your natural color.  This however, is not a big deal if you have blue, grey or maybe even green eyes. I don't know if I would recommend it to brown eyed girls. Another thing about these is I think they are a very natural looking grey, and not very freakish looking. However like I stated before, my boyfriend tends to say they are cool looking, but you can tell there is something not real about them. But whatever, I love them!!! Now, lets see how the look not zoomed in!!

Still pretty!!! I think so anyways. Comfort is 100% And very easy to take in and out. I also wear these mostly over the 6-8 hours. I don't suggest doing that though, the next day your eyes will feel very dry, unless you drop them all the time. hana SPC Hyper circle grey are only 25.90 USD at Pinky Paradise, which is a majority price of most the lenses, the better ones anyways. I haven't taken a picture of the lense case that came with these, but they were yellow hippos. Cute as can be!! I also got these during Christmas, so my free gift was holiday earrings!!

PINKAGE HAIR EXTENSIONS

Not many people know of the Korean hair extension company known as PINKAGE. They specialize in high quality wigs, hair extensions and bangs. I had become impatient when it comes to growing my hair out, because it's very thick and curly, and just doesn't want to grow at the pace I want it to. So, after hours and hours of looking up on ebay expensive hair extensions, I came across thee-shop, an ebay seller in Korea who sells these for quite a reasonable price!! After three days of looking, I ordered two different sets.

This is the 20 inch three clip (which means it's one piece, but has three clips in it) in.

Posted above is what the actual clip looks like, and I got the color red wine, seeing I'm a red head.

My only complaint about this one is it is really heavy!! You have to really clip it in there deep for it to not fall out. As long as you aren't hopping around and acting like a mad woman, it should stay in though.

There it is!! I love the curl at the ends, and it's super soft like real hair too! Did I mention both extension sets are made of synthetic hair? You can use a certain ammount of heat on them, (I believe 200 degrees, though I have not used or done this myself yet.) and I often get compliments and asked how I do my hair.  When I tell them that they are just extensions, I get gasps and unbelief that this isn't my real hair. But now to my favorite ones!!! The pricing of this one was 37.99 and free shipping!!!

Ahhh, the 16 piece, 20 inch set. My favorite. Once again I bought these in red wine. I had to dye my hair a little darker for these to match, which I didn't mind at all. These are easier to keep in, and you can pretty much do anything in these suckers!!!

It comes with 12 two clip extensions, and 4 one clip extensions. The price for this set was a little higher, costing I think 57.99. But totally worth it if you know the pricing of hair extensions, especially high quality ones.  Lets see these in action!!

These get two pictures, because they are absolutley amazing!! The ebay seller thee-shop is very reliable, and I highly suggest buying from her!!! She has many more options to buy, straight hair, wigs and bangs!!!!

And there you have it!! Three wonderful items!! I must leave now, and get some resting and go to bed early . Tomorrow we go to St. Louis, maybe I can find something good there to review!!!
